Photos of Nashville-based singer/songwriter Natalie Prass by Bradley Spitzer.
"Tomboy style to me exhibits women in their most natural and true state. I love how a woman's vibrant spirit, intelligence, and personality shines through when fashion is simplified." —Natalie Prass
Karen Kimmel is the Creative Director and Chief Curator of a Nike brand activation space, the founder of Crafting Community and Kimmel Kids, an installation artist, a mother of two ridiculously adorable kids, and it goes on from there (really). What most of her bios won't tell you though, is that she has one of the most incredible sneaker collections of any lady I know.
Full disclosure, not only...

"I think everything comes down to confidence. Anything delivered with confidence can be good. There is nothing that is bad. There is no genre of music that is inherently shitty. You can make something good if you approach it with enough gusto." —Claire Boucher, April/May 2012 Oyster Magazine
Photos of the artist via Caitlin Wylde and Mohawk General Store.
I don't know how I should file artist Caitlin Wylde—under Contemporary, Icon, or just Person I Want To Be. Shelter Half in Los Angeles is having an art opening featuring her work (!), opening tomorrow (Thursday) at ***update*** 7pm (not 5pm as earlier posted). I'll be there, at 6:59 sharp.

Photos of Parisian model-turned-record label owner Caroline de Maigret via Madewell by The Selby and The Coveteur via The Thinking Tank.
I saw the Selby photos of Caroline de Maigret in the latest Madewell catalog a week ago or so and had an instant reaction to this woman. Her style. Her stuff. Her life.
Photo of pro surfer and Quiksilver Ambassador Stephanie Gilmore via Surfing Magazine.
"My sisters did ballet when we were younger and I remember sitting in the car with my dad and going 'can we hurry up and go surfing!?, I'm sick of waiting for my sisters and their ballet classes.'" —Stephanie Gilmore, laughing in an interview from Quiksilver's The Water Dancer short film series.
